物是

《物是》展示了攝影師鄧浩倫所收集的香港舊物，共30件。從逛舊物店的習慣中累積起來，強調是香港製造的這些物品，觸及了他於此地成長的重要回憶。
 
書中物品可追溯遠至民國時期，近則至80年代。很多如今已絕跡的尋常百姓之物，如金屬器具、玻璃容器或陶具，見證了無法量產的工藝如何在過於急促的城市發展中沒落，正是傳承精神在單一文化下無以為繼的必然結果。
 
60年代始，製衣、塑膠、電子等輕工業的鼎盛，造就了香港成為世界重要的代工生產地。那些質素參差的塑膠製品，老套的鮮艷色彩既裝飾了當時人憧憬絢爛未來的夢，也是一個即將一戳即破的幻彩泡沫。工廠北移，香港經濟轉型為依賴金融、旅遊業，再已沒有新的香港製品，而那些遺留下來的零散舊物，色彩轉眼褪得像虛構的電影道具一樣。
 
《物是》沒有著眼於記錄物件的細節，照片中日光勾勒出玩具、擺飾、器具等物件的自然輪廓，突顯了家居物品隨時可見可用的親切感，配合具質感的紙張與手工書本裝幀，呈現出肯定不是屬於現在的，而是遠去了，卻依然是家的氣息。
 
As It Is(物是)  showcases the collection of old Hong Kong objects by Tang Ho Lun. These objects were mostly picked up and gathered together from vintage shops in Hong Kong. The wordings "Made in Hong Kong" printed or labeled on the objects triggered memories of this place where Tang grew up.

Tang carefully photographed every object in the book under filtered sunlight in his studio. Together with the crafts of hand-binding, As It Is expresses the feeling of sincerity and what it is about "home" in the past era of Hong Kong.
